弗蘭克·奧茲， 1944年05月25日出生于英格蘭，導(dǎo)演、演員。12歲時隨家遷居美國，后入讀奧克蘭大學(xué)新聞系。1976年開始與吉姆．漢森合作多部電視木偶戲，得到觀眾的熱烈歡迎，陸續(xù)榮獲三次艾美獎。1979年主演了電影《木偶電影》，以后在他升任導(dǎo)演期間也曾演過幾部影片，如《龍虎雙霸天》、《星球大戰(zhàn)2：克隆人戰(zhàn)爭》等。1983年與漢森聯(lián)合導(dǎo)演了木偶電影《魔水晶》，開始踏入導(dǎo)演之門。他的導(dǎo)演作品大都走喜劇路線，如《騙心大少》，《天生一對寶》、《大制騙家》等。2001年執(zhí)導(dǎo)了犯罪動作片《大買賣》，擁有馬龍．白蘭度等幾位巨星的強(qiáng)大演員陣容。
個人經(jīng)歷
作為一個電影導(dǎo)演，他導(dǎo)演了包括1986的《恐怖小商店》，1991的喜劇《鮑勃呢？》和《又臟又臭的惡棍》。他也是在星球大戰(zhàn)系列電影的木偶尤達(dá)的配音。現(xiàn)年71歲。
個人生活
Oz是出世在英格蘭共和國的赫里福郡，弗朗西絲的兒子。他的父母搬到英國后，納粹的戰(zhàn)斗與荷蘭旅。父親是猶太人，他的母親是個離經(jīng)叛道的天主教徒。Oz在他五歲時和父母搬到了加利福尼亞州的奧克蘭。他曾就讀于奧克蘭高等技術(shù)學(xué)校、奧克蘭城市學(xué)院。蕾蒂康奈爾是他的導(dǎo)師。
