鄭彥英，男，生于1953年6月26日，禮泉縣人。畢業于武漢大學文學院，獲漢語言文學學士。是河南省作家協會副主席、河南省文學院院長。中國作家協會第九屆全國委員會委員。
代表作《福星》《拂塵》《鄉村模樣》。
散文集《風行水上》獲第五屆魯迅文學獎。另有30余部著作獲全國五個一工程獎、全國社科人文科學概論優秀成果獎等省以上文學獎。系一級作家、河南省省管專家、享受國務院特殊津貼的國家有突出貢獻專家。
